2.1 Content

If the opportunity for the input of personal or business data (e-mail addresses, name, addresses) is given, the input of this data takes place voluntarily. The use and payment of all offered services are permitted - if and so far technically possible and reasonable - without specification of any personal data or under specification of anonymised data or an alias. The use of published postal addresses, telephone or fax numbers and e-mail addresses for marketing purposes is prohibited, offenders sending unwanted spam messages will be punished.
As a rule, you can visit IREON without letting us know who you are. We only record the Internet Service Provider (ISP) address, the site you are coming from, and the sites you visit on the portal for statistical purposes. For this reason we also save the search quests you enter, but you as an individual remain unknown to us.
Personal data are only ascertained for the purpose of contracts, surveys, or registration of personalised services (e.g. commission of literature research, profile services, announcement of publication).
You agree to the following conditions of ascertainment and processing of data by subscribing to personalised services provided by IREON: Your registration data may be used for the purpose of registration, reply to your question, research for literature, etc. as well as for a design of electronic services according to user requirements. The personal data are only stored for an appropriate time period, for instance to answer follow-up questions. Afterwards, personal data are deleted and only the task related data are stored for evaluation purposes. Further, it is possible to create a user profile from the information you have visited on the IREON websites in order to offer you information according to your individual needs.
Personal data are not transferred to states not belonging to the European Economic Area (EEA) .
